New Support Program for Independent Businesses in Hitchin
The Hitchin Property Trust Ltd. is excited to announce a £20,000 support package to provide local independent businesses with professional advice to help them manage and grow their business in these extraordinary times. It is open to all independents trading in Hitchin Town Centre and will provide sector specific advice to address the key challenges they face, both now and in whatever the ‘new normal’ may be. The program is intended to run for several weeks and if successful it is hoped it can be extended with further monies allocated to it.
You’ll get to speak to specialist advisors and consultants in small collaborative groups
Independent businesses are the heart of Hitchin but are particularly at risk in these unprecedented times. We recognise this and want to give independents access to the advice and resources that nationals take for granted. This is an invaluable opportunity for small businesses to speak to specialist advisors and consultants in small collaborative groups and gain direct advice relevant to their specific business. This will be through a mixture of interactive webinars and coaching sessions covering a wide range of subjects from Cash Flow, HR, Business Development, Social Media and Marketing. The aim is to help businesses in the retail, leisure and hospitality adapt their business plans; think creatively about the opportunities the crisis has created; to retain their customer base and extend it through marketing and social media; make their staff and customers feel safe; and many other key issues.
